We start our ride at our office in Central Laguna and head east, looping through Bluebird Canyon to experience the rolling inland hills. We will climb easily high above the city in the Mystic Hills neighborhood with a commanding view of our downtown district, Main Beach, and historic Laguna Hotel. Then we roll through our quaint downtown area, navigating picturesque neighborhoods past the historic Pyne Castle, with elevated ocean views in the bucolic and historic North Laguna. We will meet at the Laguna Beach Lifeguard Tower, the most photographed lifeguard post in the US! From there we’ll start our tour with a stroll along the beach cliffs overlooking the Pacific and learn more about how Laguna Beach fights against the ocean plastic epidemic with community beach clean-ups.

Next it’s time for a cup of organic coffee at Urth Caffé. In support of passionate, sustainable, organic coffee farmers, Urth Caffè has sought to bring the greatest coffee to its customers; coffee that is not only superb, but also healthier for the people who grow it, who drink it, and for the world.

After a coffee we’ll make our way to the Laguna Beach bus station for a ride into the Laguna Canyon, part of Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, to visit the Pacific Marine Mammal Center (PMMC). The PMMC rescues, rehabilitates, and releases marine mammals. The center is a non-profit organization and the first marine mammal rehabilitation facility in California. We will be met by a volunteer who will show us some of the patients currently recovering at PMMC and explain how the center operates. By joining this tour, your donation goes directly towards fresh and healthy food and medication to help rehabilitate these stranded mammals.

After visiting the centre, we’ll go for a brief, scenic walk into the Laguna Canyon, part of the Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. The park lies within some of the last remaining coastal canyons in Southern California. The park is part of the Natural Community Conservation Planning Program, which is designed to protect rare and endangered species by preserving large tracts of Orange County’s rapidly disappearing coastal sage scrub plant community.

After meeting your local guide, take a stroll through the downtown district of Laguna Beach and stop to admire some incredible street art, produced by a well-known local artist.

Stop at a popular, local candy store that is certain to take you back in time, stocking all sorts of unique, wonderful and world-famous candy. This is a great place to taste a small slice of Americana and pick up souvenirs. Next, you'll loop back to the beach and admire pretty murals and street art along the beach path. Afterwards, a coffee or tea stop will be made at a local café, housed inside an art gallery.

Stop At: Crystal Cove State Park, 8471 Pacific Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651

After that, hop on local transport for a 15-minute bus ride to the stunning beach cottages of Crystal Cove’s historic district, built as a seaside colony between the 1920s and 1940s. Crystal Cove’s story started out like a Hollywood movie, literally, as it began in 1918 as a movie set. Wander around and then enjoy a sweet treat a popular, local diner.
