Sherman Gardens is an inspiring horticultural oasis and nationally renowned botanic garden.  The Gardens's collections include over 100 species of palms from around the world, many unique varieties of begonias, a lush tropical conservatory featuring a koi pond, carnivorous plants  and orchid collection, an artistic succulent garden and rose garden.  Visitors can explore the gardens along wide brick walkways winding past bubbling fountains and flower beds bursting with color, texture, and fragrance.  
The Sherman Library preserves books and documents relating to the history of the Pacific Southwest, primarily southern California.  The Library also has an impressive California Impressionist painting collection on display.

An all-inclusive holiday celebration featuring a dazzling display of lights, live music, visits with Santa, hot chocolate and make your own 'smores!

The 5th Annual Nights of 1000 Lights celebration looks to be the best yet with all new light displays featuring more lights than ever.  Visitors will enjoy a flurry of fun in the Central Garden, boogie through the disco inFERNo, and take a trip through the glistening light tunnel.  Soak up the technicolor displays as you walk throughout the Gardens.  In the Tea Garden you can join the hula dancers in singing Mele Kalikimaka.  Don't forget to visit the gnome village on your way to Santa's Workshop.  
All guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and a make your own 'smores station.  The will also be a photo-op with Santa, holiday photo booth and fun arts and crafts activities.  Additionally, there will be a no-host wine and beer bar, tamale vendor and holiday shopping available in the Garden Shop.  
Café Jardin will be open and offering a special prix fixe holiday dinner -$50 per person
