Beautiful real wind powered sailing through the San Francisco Bay from Berkeley. No exhaust or noise of engines - we sail right out of the slip!!

We meet in the Berkeley Marina where there is plenty of free parking. Bring lots of warm clothes and whatever you want to eat or drink. Get in touch with me if you want me to cater your sail.

You guide can customize your sail experience and cater your groups wishes and weather patterns. Sail around Alcatraz, Angel Island, along the city front, under the new Bay Bridge... simply provide feedback to your captain.

We can also make stops at local restaurants or Angel Island. All the places to stop are 'first come first served' but there are some quiet places that are almost always available!

BBQ and parties for groups larger than 6. There is a cute little garden and BBQ right at the foot of the dock.

Create a hand-painted mask steeped in the rich cultural history of Mexico on this 2-hour Day of the Dead traditional Mexican mask-making class. Dive into the rich history of this paper mache tradition alongside an internationally acclaimed artist, who describes its fascinating background before demonstrating the craft. Once you’ve got the basics down, roll up your sleeves, and hand-paint your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Breathtakingly colorful masks long been part of the Mexican celebration of Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead. Start your 2-hour workshop by listening to a 10-minute talk about the history behind this art form.

Paper Mache was introduced to Mexico during Colonial Period as a way to make ornaments for churches. The Aztecas viewed the human skull as a symbol of power and re-birth, while European cultures viewed the human skull as a symbol of death. Paper mache calaveras remain popular art forms in Mexico and the United States.

After an internationally renowned artist demonstrates the craft, you will have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves to hand-paint your own paper mache masterpiece.
